I am now in the Apple ecosystem.
But, I must admit, Google apps are better than Apple equivalent apps. And I used the Google apps on my Apple products, whenever possible.
I just hope Google will not break these apps and make them worse. In some cases is hard to find alternatives.

markiz, 06 Nov 2025which languages does it speak? can it finally understand lo... moreLol, good point. Probably yes, if you change phone's main language every time you cross a border ;) but Google people never had to, they are probably understanding one language only ;)

        AI everywhere.
Google assistant cant tell me how delicate is said food only from reviews. Those can be good or bad. People can post fake reviews to boost their rating at restaurant.

Never had a problem with a paper map. AI solving big problems!?!?!

            "as of your friend"
all i got is sleeping friend which infect me while driving

Anyone who tried to use Gemini as in ads will perfectly know that its one of those features that never work properly... Its like using old google assistant but after it was hit in the head with bat and got drunk to numb the pain...
Gemini cant really do anything beside simple commands as even making new note in goggle note app is beyond his power...

which languages does it speak? can it finally understand local names for places?

Asking Google for information about a place is not a good idea. Google may give biased info - which will be hard for a stranger to identify. And Google Maps have been iffy when it comes to showing to *right* routes.

                  Indeed, the AI invasion continues.
