Samsung was not sucessful with their Galaxy 25 5.8mm phone; what makes anyone of the iPhone 17 Air fans think it will sell anyway?
There are so many problems.

    why don't they just put a partial telephoto instead? Like it should be Ultrawide + Zoom, ditch the main camera and integrate it's focal length into the zoom.

            If they do manage to do this, increase the battery capacity and call it the 'iPhone 18 Air' then I imagine this'll sell a bit better than the current Air. But the vanilla and Pro phones are always going to be the better sellers no matter what.

              With the current design they'd either have to make the camera hump a full centimetre thicker or make the entire phone thicker, as they're cramming most of the PCB into the hump. Feels a lot like fake news.

                Hahahaha I have great doubts if people complained about one camera. From what I know, it overheats quickly. The battery capacity is very small compared to the price, which is why sales are dropping.

                  YUKI93, 06 Nov 2025Just when you thought Sony copied Pixel rear camera design ... morekeep in mind that the camera bump also lives the main board. they call it plateau. iPhone 17 Pro however in teardowns, looks similar to Android's board and battery layout. the board is in the top instead on the right side like older iPhones.

                          Samsung and apple are trying way too hard to hype up slim phones lol

                          A phone with less features and a smaller battery capacity is positioned as something really high end

                            Just when you thought Sony copied Pixel rear camera design for the Xperia 10 VII, it turns out that Apple is also doing the same thing.
