[deleted post] out of many other pixel you chose the one with the frequent green screen issue and the outdated hardware for the battery life
goodluck with that
you have the freedom of choice 😉..

It's surprising to see so many complaints about the OnePlus 15's camera and screen. The phone offers significant generational upgrades that shouldn't be overlooked (design, software, battery, AI features). While competitors like Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi might offer a good advantage in camera hardware and output, the OnePlus is objectively superior in nearly every other aspect. While retaining the previous generation's screen and camera hardware might have resulted in a better overall product, these perceived shortcomings are minor and certainly not the "dealbreakers" many comments suggest. This is definitely not just a gaming phone, it’s more of an Ultra/ Pro Max (if not better) without their flagship camera.

one aspect of these comparisons that often get ignored are the iso levels and exposure times. Due to the larger sensor on the 13, it takes less exposure time to achieve its results vs the 15. This means with the 15, you'll need to hold the camera steady for longer to achieve results comparable to the 13 otherwise results will be blurry. Another comparison not shown in the samples are shots that have fast movements (pets, cars etc). In those scenarios the 15 will struggle vs the 13 due to hardware limitations.

Why is it the OP15 and not OP14? Superstition from a country that's so technically accomplished is embarrassing. Might as well go all in and call it by year, instead naming "25" for 2025? Who cares about the camera! Adults all have real cameras for photos. Why is the display PPI lower? And STILL a hole-punch display? Even ZTE can make a notchless phone!

The garden picture with 3 trees middle is clear that OP 15 is the one trying to mimic pixel phone like images with boosted contrast, saturation, vibrance and sharpening. OP 13 consistently uses faster shutter speeds and lower ISO while maintaining more natural look. In the bar and store picture especially you can see boosted brightness, contrast and sharpener text on the left red wall and the light blue sign which looks basically white on the OP 15.
You might be a photographer but that doesn't default your taste better than the rest. Who even knows how good of a photographer you really are...(No offense)

Anonymous, 14 Nov 2025if only people were not used to that oversharpening 3D effe... moreThank you, at least you understood what I meant, as opposed to most of these "experts" who probably haven't touched a real camera or worked with a proper raw file in their life but are still trying to convince me that I don't know what I'm talking about. The brands have won, they managed to condition people into believing that over sharpened mess is actually more detail and they prefer it. That's what google and apple and samsung were doing for years because they just didn't have good hardware so they pushed the sharpness and clarity to the max to give the impression of detail. Every time I look at those photos it hurts my eyes. And you're absolutely right, my fold 7 takes really soft images with the main camera now, too soft honestly but I think they are heading in the right direction. It's always easier to add sharpness to a jpeg photo than to remove it

Zak333, 13 Nov 2025Compare them at nightThat is the thing I'm most worried about. My op12 takes really nice pictures in very low light conditions, and it would be a deal breaker for me if that got removed.
