Weekly poll: can the OnePlus 15 be your next flagship?

16 November 2025
OnePlus has managed to keep the price (mostly) the same, but at what cost?

it’s good, but wouldn’t have been.

I already have my new S25 Edge.

Anonymous, 18 Nov 2025No audio jack and no sd card slot = hard pass Next!So I guess you're not buying a new phone any time soon LOL? As much as I hate it, those two features are dead for good.

YUKI93, 16 Nov 2025You can try considering secondhand OP13 in the mix.Yeah, I thought about that too. But I ended up getting the OP15's 512GB version with the bonus Watch 3, a deal too good to pass for 799 euros - apparently. :)

Based on my first impressions so far, I'm happy with my purchase. The black model's back cover feels extremely nice to touch - but I'll get a case for it anyway, so any of the color options would've suited me just fine in the end.

It seems Samsung was also expecting a price drop for the OP15. They had the S25 Ultra 256GB go on sale for $850 the weekend before the OP15 reveal to get people on the fence to buy it. Then after the $899 price reveal and reception they raised the sale price up to $950.

OnePlus 15 is a very good gaming phone. Like, V-E-R-Y good. Hell, you could even call it a sleeper. The long battery life, zippy charging speed and impressive sustained performance will surely attract the performance-centric users (which is supposedly the whole point of the OnePlus brand). I think OnePlus has done justice to the latest Snapdragon chipset.

However, for camera enthusiats, there are better options available. If only OnePlus didn't axe the 1/2" telephoto, we'd be having an entirely different discussion. (70mm focal length is fine imo).

15R is probably going to be the best value next year. *Zero* interest and need for top tier cameras and performance. But I can appreciate excellent battery life with rapid charging.
