Suryadi, 18 Nov 2025You CANNOT be serious bro 💀 snapdragon rebrands their flags... moreI mean, MediaTek is more lazy with their rebrands. They usually just give it a new name with little to no changes. Qualcomm and MediaTek do lots of rebrands in budget and midrange space, not in flagship space, atleast as far as I'm aware. MediaTek is the first with that.

aReefer, 18 Nov 2025Replying to myself, yes, I can complain. I just cancelled m... morejust take a look at the redmi K90 features, the F8 and F8 ultra is the same phone but launched under Poco brand. No surprise here, Xiaomi does that for EU countries. It will probably cost around 1000€ for the ultra model, as the 15T pro is about 800€ and it is on cheaper mediatek chipset.

It seems I have to go for Redmagic 11 pro if I want a high specced phone with 1 TB. hell, I even get a headphone jack, which is like the number one reason to buy it for me, seeing as I am not a gamer but I am using my phone for listening to music a lot

So it seems like it's confirmed that they won't release a 1 TB version. I can live with the battery nerf, but why the hell do they not release a 1TB variant?? There is no reason for that, since microSD expansion is dead a lot of people could use that!

aReefer, 18 Nov 2025Just ordered the 256 GB F7 on Ali Express for like $285.
O... moreReplying to myself, yes, I can complain. I just cancelled my F7 order. lol
I'll wait for the early bird deal on the F8. Hopefully it'll have slightly better cameras, be a bit smaller and lighter, have a more energy efficient, stronger CPU with better ISP and won't burn my hands.
Hopefully this was a smart move. We'll see I guess...

I'll buy it, but if they don't reduce battery size.
Great speakers are a tempting feature, but battery is no less important.
