Just pathetic. Going backwards. 12GB RAM in modern flagship it's abysmal. 16GB of RAM was already norm back in 2023.

Out of 8 GB ram, 5 is occupied, pretty normal. All newer one ui versions are just trash.

You need at the very least 8GB of ram to even have a chance of it running it with any amount of stability. Also all the useless AI gimmicks require a ton of ram to function properly

So 128 base finally gone for phone without microSD? Interesting how price for base model goes up too. And if Samsung bring some useful codecs and protocols for Bluetooth (not only "amazing" codecs to tie you to their ecosystem). Like is LC3 with full TMAP protocol can be done there?

Boiling hot take: 12gb of RAM is still OK for a flagship smartphone in 2026. Especially with memory costs soaring, this is the best way for Samsung to be able to maintain their price parity with Apple. Most AI features are still going to be running in the cloud, so you won't miss out on much.
