emmanuelGodwin, 21 Nov 2025Finally, the war is coming to an end. not yet there is still work to do. But is big step for bringing down the so called "apple ecosystem"/ apple exclusivity. But Don't Forget about facetime although this really an u.s issue not anywhere else in the world..

Cheap models can be annoying. But decent ones are fast. As for phones my older Samsung S24 Plus works much better than my dad's iPhone 17 pro. Its laggy and slow. Needs some updates maybe.

Bailey , 21 Nov 2025They haven't done that with Oppo Because it is not going via AirDrop. You need to install the O+ connect app first on iPhone.

If you remember, circle to search took a pretty similar route- It initially was exclusive to the pixel 8, then made its way to older pixels, then expanded to Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Nothing, Moto, etc. devices later on

I do not mind changing phones and just quite recently I went from iOS to Android (again). And my too go is always Samsung at first. And I did that, just because iOS is horrible. And I mean, the updated versions of 26.0.1 and 26.1. I had good battery life, but the amount of bugs. I have never ever saw a worst iOS version since my first switch to iPhone in 2018 with iOS 11. Even that worked great. Even the beta versions of iOS 26 run better than the final version. But I also do have a lot bugs on macOS 26 as well. At first, I just thought that my M1 Pro MacBook is not that powerful anymore. Well no, F that. because I do have the same bugs and slowdowns on M4 Mac mini as well.

My family members except my uncle use iPhone. Personally never share any file with them. Rarely via whatsapp. I'm very happy with my Samsung and never will switch. Especially if you compare one ui 8 with ios 26 android is smoother. Surprising but true.

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2025Samsung, this is why you need to fork Android away from Goo... moreI mean, it shouldn't be in the hands of Samsung either if Android development needs to be fully open-source, good, and not be integrated with spyware first-party apps (Google/OEM's) deep in the OS. Unfortunately, Google will hold onto Android for dear life so it can continue its enshittification.

So even if the feature isn't coming to other Android brands anytime soon, it's definitely coming to Samsung in the coming weeks.
