potato4k, 28 Nov 2025It's funny how people are bashing the Air. Meanwhile, ... moreA lot of people actually like how Air feels.
The problem is when they use it.
Single camera and mono speaker? While more expensive than base iPhone? Yeah, that won't do.

potato4k, 28 Nov 2025It's funny how people are bashing the Air. Meanwhile, ... moreThis has nothing to do with buying more.. even if this air wouldn't be the demand for pro or max would remain same or slightly higher because those who bought this air wouldn't buy it because it wouldn't exist so they would go for pro or max..
And those who bought this air are now disappointed and they STILL went ahead and purchased pro or max now they either have two phones and some are selling air..

Minu, 28 Nov 2025No offense, but I have no hope for Lenovo at this point. Th... moreYeah, I understand that, and I previously swore off buying more devices made by Moto. However, the two issues that have plagued devices for years - poor updates and poor cameras - improved significantly since the Edge 60 Pro. Both the 60 Pro and the new 70 have excellent cameras. Moto has already rolled out Android 16 to many Edge 50 and 60 models, and if the Edge 70 is any indication, we might see a return to flat displays and Snapdragon chips. Combine that with stock android with thoughtful additions, and I think the higher end models are worth considering (but only when on sale!).

Well - the iPhone 6 was still more slim than the new iPhone Air. So what exactly have Apple achieved in 11 years ??!?

sixtymes, 28 Nov 2025Should not discourage. The problem is, just like people on ... moreThe thing is, not the thinness, but the price is not really equal to what we get on that phone. Sell it as the thinnest is good, but also mind the price since everything is gone to gain that thin body. Keep the price as the full phone? People still choose the proper phone than thin phone, since again, the value we got when buying the phone

Their flawed nomenclature, the consistent under-delivery in user experience, unjustifiable compromises with each iteration and the lack of uniformity between their devices are absolutely unacceptable for a brand that can't be even considered "niche".

That's on them though, and am sure it's mainly to blame on the high costs of that device. It literally never made to sense me at all that the air was literally more expensive than the vanilla iPhone 17 wic seems better to me if u were to put those 2 devices side by side to compare.....closely the same thing with the s25 edge

Both Edge and Air had compromises and omissions that most tech enthusiast frown on. These low sales think pieces rely on the false conclusion that these devices were specd right and priced right.
These sales figures mean nothing

Should not discourage. The problem is, just like people on here, they don't understand the advantages, which, is fault of the retailers. The product (thin) is not being marketed properly.

Apple is running out of ideas. They made a blinged up iPhone 6 and introduced it as a modern phone. They reverted to using an aluminium frame for their Pro models after using more premium stainless steel and titanium and the anodised aluminium they use scratches and discolour. They merely increased the refresh rate and storage for their vanilla models and get praised for not being as greedy. Don't know why people are still buying their phones.
