We have seen how they kept reusing helio g99 on a15,a16 and a17 4gs, so I wouldn't be suprised if they would still reuse Dimensity 6300. I just hope that MediaTek would someday give better improvement ls to Dimensity 6000 series, atleast they would have moved from cortex a76 to cortex a78.

Leaked geekbench is awfully similar to Snapdragon 680 with the single score of 300+ and multiscore of 1300+ and the gppy is adreno 610. Although leaked geekbench are unreliable recently since they have found out that leaked a77 was a fake. Still, Snapdragon 680 is the most awful 6nm chip in 2025.

And I know they have those models.
I have not criticized and laughed at those models with higher RAM.
What I criticized and laugh at Samsung is that they still make and release a 4GB RAM models (A07) for in 2026.
Why waste corporate time, money, and resources on making 4GB RAM model(s), when they can make more 6GB RAM model(s) rather than the 4GB RAM model(s).
And that is before the RAM shortage (late 2025), but after the 4 / 6 years support promise (2024).
Again, not an excuse for Samsung.

Oh... morebefore, it was 4 years, now its 6 years starting with the A16 (A06 excluded), this means the A07 included in the 6 years of support too, sure the A07 has a 4GB variant but its also has the 8GB variant and if you are not one to care about the screen much, the A07 8/256 is a much better choice than the A16 8/128 since both of them are practically the same phone except for their screen, though again with the RAM shortage this mean the future for the A08 will be bleak and lets just hope this hasnt affected the upcoming A07 5G yet

Wait, What?! 4 years?!
Oh, they published the article on Feb 2025.
I was looking at an article on 2024, which I though that all Axx series will get 6 years support.
That's an even worse deal now for the A06 ("possibly" for A07 as well) after learning this.

Actually, I'm not surprised....
I'm aware of the 4GB RAM with 6 years support for other A series lineup.
Since the topic is about A07, to an extent, the A0x series, I just sticked to the A07 / A0x series topic.
Samsung's 6 years support promise started on 2024.
The A36 and A56 have shipped their units with 6GB RAM minimum.
It's the A26, A16 and A06 who still shipped 4 GB RAM minimum in 2024.
Before the RAM shortage but have announced the 4 / 6 years support promise.
Not an excuse and should have done better.
Anything below Ax5 (A55, A35, A25 etc / 2023) are shipped with 4 GB RAM minimum.
Which is before the 4 / 6 years support promise.

Also the A06 wasnt promised 6 years but 4 years, the A16 was the one with 6 years, sure is still awful with G85 and 4GB of RAM
But what I meant wasnt limited only to the A0X, with this shortage of RAM if you see a samsung A1X or A2X or maybe even the A3X and A5X using a 4GB of RAM again, then dont need to surprised because thats how they always did it

It makes sense to bring back the compact Galaxy A40. (Because S26’s 71mm width will feel bigger than S25’s 70mm)
a 70mm Galaxy A47 could be the compact alternative we’ve been waiting for. (no compact competitor besides Motorola Edge 50 Neo in that price segment, it currently retails for the same price as A56 & A40 target price should be in-between A30 & A50)

Samsung has been using 4GB RAM in their A0x series for the last 4 years (starting from A02).
Which is before the RAM shortage. Hence, that is not an excuse.
Especially when Samsung has promised 6 years support for A06 (2024) on wards.
4 GB RAM would be reasonable if Samsung will only have 1 to 2 years support.
Though I wouldn't pay $100++ for a phone that will only last for 1 to 2 years.
Also, the A07 HAS increased the price tag compared to A06 (according to GSM arena via Amazon listing).
A07 vs A06 @ 64 GB storage (Launch Price):
$140 vs $105 ($45 difference)
A07 vs A06 @ 128 GB storage (Launch Price):
$141 vs $114 ($27 difference)

LOL @ Samsung!What do you expect with the RAM hogged by the AI slop since earlier this year, this will affect everything that use DRAM chip and smartphone is not an exception, there has even been news that smartphone price will rise due to this and moreso since the Samsung RAM division didnt give a damn to the Samsung mobile division they prioritize the AI slop, so I can just see Samsung selling phone with 4GB again all to maintain profits
