SShock, 16 Dec 2025I mean I had Poco X4 GT and that one came with 67W charger ... more50% in 10 minutes would actually be really close to Xiaomi's claimed charging rate, but it does (unsurprisingly) drop off really sharply after that. Numbers on this site suggest flat to 75% takes 30 minutes (about 30W average) and a full charge takes 57 minutes (about 20W average). No means bad given the X4 is hardly a flagship phone, and I think it's hilarious that as Samsung hasn't got higher sustained rates since the S23 that the S25 still charges slower than this (for those wondering the iPhone is still slow but thankfully it's not 2 hours slow anymore).

I don't know if it was really 67W and for what period, but the speed it charged the phone was absolutely insane so it had to charge at really fast rates. I could plug it in for 10 minutes before heading out and it would charge enough to last to the end of the day. S23 Ultra still charges relatively fast in Super Fast Charging mode, whatever its actual speed in watts is, but it's nowhere that fast. In 10 minutes I maybe gain 20%. With Xiaomi/Poco it would be 50%.

These charging speed rating are all fantasy land anyway, it's just there are brands that can actually sustain the charging speeds that Samsung is already lying about.

Batteri Voltas, 12 Dec 2025Ugreen is top notchThe majority of UGREEN products don't have any 240V applicable safety listings, meaning far as I'm concerned using them is barely less risky than those no name chargers. Some newer ones do have the North American UL or Japan's PS E which is an improvement over their older ones that had none at all, but far as I can tell none of them have TÜV for the EU or BIS for India, most actually reputable manufacturers tend to collect them all. I think one of their products has the caltrop SAFETY Mark though, which is interesting.

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2025Their 45w already equal to xiaomi 100w so....The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max charges nearly 20 minutes faster than the Samsung S25 Ultra despite having a 50% larger battery capacity, and maths on the battery capacity suggests it is actually averaging more than double the charging power to do so as the rating suggests. Now of course using wattage to market charging speed has been out of hand for a long time, but Samsung is evidently just as guilty while still hardly being quick to charge.

Idiots. Samsung already had a 65W charger which they used for the Galaxy Book, which also included the same cable that comes with their 45W charger. By doing so, the speed would have been slighlty faster (5W more) and the old adapter and cable would have been utilised.
            Win Win!

Batteri Voltas, 12 Dec 2025isn't samsung's protocol just PPS and can charge ... moreApparently not because I've never seen it charge anywhere near 45W. In fact it was often just 35W and even that quickly dropped to something like 30-32W...

                😂😂😂😂😂😂
Finally, Samsung has woken up from its charger slumber.

In my whole life not even a single Nokia or Samsung accessories went bad. I have some 3rd party accessories experience. I even brought an Ugreen 3.5mm cable which costed me 10$(a lot for a 3.5mm connection). It haven't gone bad but I saw how wll it was made and within a few months the shiny cover plate came loose. I don't even move that cable around that much.
And when a 3rd party Charger which costs as much(and sometimes more), I will definitely stick with the trusted first party gadgets.
