So the Galaxy S26 Ultra charges nearly as fast as a laptop.
Aside, can that charger charge a laptop? Because mine in particular refuses to be charged unless it sees a minimum input current and at 20V.

P C M, 11 Dec 2025Because UGREEN built quality isn't that good compared ... moreNo idea where you got that from, Ugreen's chargers and cables have been rock-solid for years, literally working on anything you plug into them.
I can tell you for a fact the Samsung 50W charger will absolutely refuse to work with a AA/AAA battery charger, among other small electronics I have around the house, while my Ugreen 65W and 100W chargers work perfectly fine with them AND both my S25U and Watch Ultra.

Invetor, 11 Dec 2025Why not just make it 65w in the first place?Because samsung would like to differentiate from others?

LOL joke of the year,
53 euros for 60W charging speeds.
Motorola 125W charger in my country cost from as low as 25 euros. And thats more than twice the speedand less than half the price.

FatShady, 11 Dec 202560w that is barely faster than the 45w, that is already not... moreThe S25U can charge in an hour. The Z6 can charge in a little under 1.5 hrs. That's a 30 minutes difference. It will matter. Maybe not to the 1% of consumers that follow tech religiously, but to the 99% that don't.

€53 for a single port? My €8 65W chinese GaN charger I bought three years ago has two ports, supports PPS and can charge my ThinkPad and phone simultaneously. Samsung really is just Apple regen now lol

The best part about this charger is that nobody needs to buy it, 21V PPS is pretty common so you might already have a charger that supports it. That's especially good as Samsung's OEM cables and chargers aren't great quality wise.

Architect, 11 Dec 2025Not really years and yeas as they started be popular 5 year... moreAliExpress history doesn't go that far back or I've bought it with account before that, but it was over 6 years ago. I'd say that is years and years. And I still have it, a dual USB charger with standard 5V 2.4A and QC3.0 port. I bit of a chunker, but still works fine and it's a really durable brick.

Invetor, 11 Dec 2025Why not just make it 65w in the first place? After two years lmao. This is Samsung and they, like Apple, know they could cling to their brand names and do something like this. And their fans would still defend them.

P C M, 11 Dec 2025Because UGREEN built quality isn't that good compared ... moreAccessories coming from the brand itself doesn't mean quality. Third parties and competing companies have already upped their game and Samsung keeps relying on brand name to pull off crap like this.

Yeah, but the 45 watt charging they already have is tested to only charge at 25w or so, so it's a fake 65w probably.
