Nokia Lumia 1020 price slashed by a third in China

In Indonesia, I'm using postpaid for more than 10 years with average usage > USD 150 /month without any carrier giving free phone or whatsoever. US and European countries are heaven for new phone hunter.
My friend's average usage is USD 300 /month and he's also buying his own phone. Gya ha haaaa.... if we live in the US, we could sign with 5 carriers at one go for such amount.

So why is it 25% costlier in India over China? Should Indians stop buying Lumias too for a price cut?

Comparing it's area, the smartphone trend should and must and is more than combined Lahore and Islamabad. You got the example wrong pal. By they way, trying to write urban words in capital does reflects your intentions of throwing out words when you fail in counter-argument/fail to understand a post which you can't because of the prohibition imposed by GSMArena.

Even in most parts of the world, people have no idea what Windows Phone is. Those who knows about it hesitate to buy one as they might have heard/experienced lack of apps and most basic features in Windows Phone 7. Taking it further before, people who used Windows Mobile won't be even counting Windows Phone 8 as a substitute if Android and iOS would be over. They would go for Firefox or Jolla or even Symbian instead of Windows Phone.
Creating reputation is in your hands. Microsoft tried to act like Apple with its Windows Phone 7 by imposing abnormal restrictions to the eco system but their strategy didn't go well as they expected.
Now consider Samsung and Apple. Leave Apple aside. Their prices are insanely high even after years. Now consider Samsung. Galaxy S4 was launched way before Lumia 1020 and the price of Lumia 1020 is yet close to touch Galaxy S4. Same thing could happen with the Lumia 1520 if it didn't go well which I doubt because of the factors I have mentioned above.
People are so much loyal to their beloved brands(Apple and Samsung) now that they don't even want to try out other substitutes or alternatives. I jumped from Apple to Windows Phone. I currently own an iPhone 4S, Lumia 920, Note II, Asha 501, Lumia 520. Windows Phone gave me a smooth experience. The apps are even more than enough in the store but still many many apps are yet to make their way in as people coming from iOS or Android will complain about it today or tomorrow. Despite of having more than 160,000 apps in the Windows Phone store, Microsoft still needs to attract developers for developing native apps for their platform.

I'm not surprised. Here in my country Nokia drops their prices drastically after a couple of months but still no one wants to buy them.

But in recent times, Nokia has now fallen from the most selling in Karachi too. Nokia Pakistan is also deeply troubled by this. Even the famous feature phones sales are falling.
Store Shelves that were once filled with Nokia's are now filled with Samsung, Sony and others. You can see Samsung success by the fact that they have now appointed 3 Distributors just for their Mobile-phone division.
Also i would like to tell that Apple is also gaining some ground, even Apple's Official Reseller- MediaCenter is now selling them at their official stores with Apple warranty.
Please note that i do intend to offend anyone just stating the obvious facts.

Lahore and Islamabad aren't even 30% of Karachi. You need to get that fact straight my fellow Pakistani. Almost 60% of the whole revenue of Pakistan is been generated from Karachi.

The problem is the sickness of the Chinese people because of that the price is 1000$usd for nokia 1020 before and the price was pumped with 300% profit on it.
Now have to much sick people in China who want to get rich to fast.For example Samsung 4 is 3800rmb for pass 5 months and the price still is same.

So soon! It is still expensive considering its a windows phone. Most people prefer or wants an iPhone or An android phone Not a windows phone.

note 3 is the limit of phone size that to reasonable because of the unique stylus.
