Reading most of the comments here, my conclusion - most of you can't reason with ur heads instead you reason with ur butts.

1million per day doesn't necessarily mean 1million everyday for 1week, 2wks or 1month. If they sell a total of 80million devices in 80days doesn't mean they sell 1million everyday, the 1million per day is just the average. They could ship 30million in a week to different countries and not ship again till the next month. If Apple sells 20million devices in 10days, the average is 2million per day when it could be that they just shipped the whole 20million "once".

This is impressive, Samsung's product are among the best, you can't deny that and its people's favourite around the world - marketing or no marketing. You guys got to stop hating and just learn a thing or two from them.

Well I'm guessing this is an estimate but the fact is Samsung really good marketing strategies. Now they're involved with the NBA & the Olympics. It just keeps getting better for them.

James, 29 Oct 2013Stunning but not unexpected performance when you understand... moreEasy James. San have proven that their common sense of phone design & pushing specs & innovation have been an advantage to us all.
Software wise it's the consumer's responsibility to understand & control their own personal data. Most people owned a pc before smart phones so are already aware of digital security. It's up to the individual to decide how much emphasis to put on it. Do you really believe we deserve all Google's innovation for free? Someone has to pay for it & their attempt to streamline how we're communicated with does not deserve the cliche bad press it always gets from the misinformed.

Nokia is dead, Apple is selfish, Microsoft also, HTC is stupid, Sony also (because they invest in irrelevancies, like case, waterproof etc.), Motorola not interested for race, only real competition for Samsung is LG...
