I've one asus padfone 1 since Juin last yr and till now what i can say? Performance more than better. Now I'll change for this new Infinity 2 released in Taiwan last September, just because the increase made by ASus in this device with such a processor Snapdragon 800 is fantastic. This is the unique device around the world with two chances. Or use it as smartphone in your pocket or if you wish to spend your time gambling just put it inside the tablet. Someone can tell me if there is another device similar to this one, around the planet? I don't think so.

never buy this SHI* from ASUS. you get the phone and for 3 months you get Updates for Bug fix. and its done. You will never get Android OS update. I have Padfone2. was happy when i was receving updates (JB 4.1a. JB 4.1b, JB 4.1 SHI*) we did not even get 4.1.2.

I own an Asus Notebook, and it is really good, though I wouldn't count on sending it back for repair even on warranty...

I really wanted the Asus Padfone in the past, but since it never materialized with my network 3G bands I gave up and ended up with Xperia phones... they aren't perfect but I do love their build quality and minimalistic UI.

But I absolutely love the idea behind the PadFone... if it was made by giants such as Samsung, Apple, Sony... I would really bet the future is right there...

I am actually an official test-pilot for this. And it is called "The New" Asus Padfone Infinity and not just the Padfone Infinity 2

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2013It's not Super AMOLED. It's a LCD IPS display, which (IMO) ... moreYeah I like boring tech too. I mean LCDs are mainstream -what- 10 years? Why not make it 20? I mean let us disregard that amoled is what all cinephile people expect as the next big thing, what do they even know?

I've learnt to say that amoled colours are inaccurate just because that was how Samsung happened to use the tech in S1 and S2 phones and as we all know what Samsung does (it) is the only right use of a given tech.

While we're at it let us ignore the infinite blacks and almost infinite contrast, I'm sure those do not help to have a more quality, more natural image. I like my blacks to be gray and viewing angles to be abysmal, heil LCD...

Every time I see an article about Padfone`s I`m like:
"Yeah right, which one was that again?!!" There are just too many of them and it`s not even that much of a popular product you know...

One of the most important why many phone makers such as asus,lg or sony lose to samsung it is because of display colour n contrast.
