chintu, 31 Oct 2013a re-branded Chinese phone Could be, but do you know which one if that's the case?

I know Cherry Mobile uses rebranded Xolo phones, like Cosmos S (Xolo Q1000), so it's a bit weird if they sell rebranded india phones, which are really rebranded china phones.

If that's the case then they should cut the middle man :P

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2013Lol 1800mahNot impressive capacity, but for it's price point it's actually not too bad.

What eats battery? Large screen size with high resolution, RAM and CPU/GPU.

Is this a 5" or higher? Nope
                            Is this FHD? Nope
                            2GB RAM? Nope
                            Power demanding CPU/GPU? Nope

It should do quite alright in this department.
Also, no 4G to completely annhiolate the battery :p

AnonD-178959, 30 Oct 2013Actually for a low end this SoC is quite capable.Yes A7 is ... moreNot a gaming phone, but it should be perfectly capable of running many of the more popular 3D games. On youtube there's many videos of both 720p and 1080p screen phones running on this chipset and testing several 3D games.

If they had gone with the MT6589T instead, it would be better for gaming. The increase in GPU clock speed helps a lot.

I have the MT6589T in my FHD screen phone, and it can run som very impressive games. If the resolution was cut in half to 720p, the fps would be even better in the most demanding ones, like The Dark Knight Rises.

My only concern is powerVR544.For average user it shouldn't be much of a problem, but for those wanting to play 3D games on 720p screen is a no go.But who would actually want to play 3D games on 150eur phone?!? :)

One thing is for sure, some people are never pleased with anything. Whatever said and done I am sure Xolo Q900 will be quite worth your money, I bought a Q700 sometime back with no expectation at all and it surprised me by being quite good. My only concern is, the batt may be a little too less for the HD screen.
