Let's face it, for £299 you can't really complain about one or two issues can you? Yes, the camera could be better, yes the battery could be larger and yes it could have a micro SD card slot, but all in all the Nexus is a truly excellent device for the money, and the sheer performance of it is incredible!

FYI, apparently the reason why none of the nexus devices have an SD slot is because it is too sonfusing for most user, with regards to having 2 different areas of storage. Silly I know, but still...

If your only complaint is the battery being 2300 then your just looking to complain.. i don't even own an android phone but if you can't plug your phone in within some point in the day or if you use it every second all day should probably be doing your job and not on your phone.. thats why there are chargers duh

          Iphone 5S res: 640 x 1136 = 0,72 MP

          Nexus 5 res: 1080 x 1920 = 2,07 MP = 3x Iphone5S

          thats it!!

            Yours!
            Your math is pretty bad.

Let me explain you how things are here:
            - iPhone resolution 640 x 1136 pixels = 727k pixels
            - Nexus 5 resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels = 2073k pixels

As 2073 is almost 3 times 727 => iPhone 5s only has about a third of Nexus 5 resolution.

            q.e.d

The battery of 2300mAh is a shame.
I think the phone will flop solely due to the battery life.
For a 5" phone running on 2.3 Ghz quad core CPU power guzzler, 2300 mAh will not last even 8 hours
Compare it with Nexus 4, which has a smaller screen and slower processor, but runs on 2000 mAh.
              Its a shame!!!
I think LG is is going to derail the Nexus 5 on purpose. It has the LG G2 to worry about more than Nexus 5.
The floor is open guys, pls protest for battery!!!

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2013a third of the resolution? Someone's math is very bad.Yours is - you might want to start learning multiplication. The GPU in the 5s only needs to drive one-third the amount of pixels as compared to the Nexus 5.

Considered that?
The non-expandable storage is sadly a deal breaker for me as having locked storage forces me to alter my data plan to stream the rest of what I want.

For its time actually it was the fastest, of course by now it is old news (faster chipsets hence phones have been released) but that was not unexpected... Love it or hate it Samsung's devices are among the fastest for their time of release.

Of course this thread is about an LG so -yeah- I have no idea why we're talking about Samsung...
