      No updates for Indian users.
4.3 updates still not announced and now 4.4
Good job HTC no wonder Nokia and Samsung ruling sales here.
Tip: Nokia survived coz of Indian consumers.

And the search continues for a single android OEM that provides regular updates (or any) for their phones.

Joey, 01 Nov 2013I'm still waiting for 4.3, this is all rubbish talk..At first I thought there was something wrong with my device since I haven't received an update yet and the news said that they already rolled out the update for the dev edition. This confirms that I'm not the only one who haven't updated to 4.3 yet.

HTC is sill not on track. Ver 4.3 has not been available in all markets yet. Now they talk about Ver4.4 which is a good. But only for US? Anything due to sense 5.5 not being available in US with 4.3. If HTC is clear in their announcement with time lines it will help consumer confidence.

HTC has really deserved now every penny I have paid for my HTC One Developer Edition. I am insanely happy with it. ONE was an amazing product. However they should have used snapdragon 800 in ONE Max. Snapdragon 600 for ONE Max was a bad decision. I hope they make wiser decisions on the timing and configuration for their upcoming phones, just like they did for the ONE.

S-off? Really? Because when I used to live in the middle east I got 4.2 three weeks after it was released. Now I'm living in the U.S. and I didn't get 4.3 yet. How does S-off work exactly? Is it like rooting? Because I don't want to ROOT my phone. I have the Unlocked 32gb International Version by the way.

If you didnt get 4.3 you can easily s-off and get new updates as soon as possible.
