Nokia 8800 Gold Arte ups the ante with even more luxury

22 Dec, 2008
The latest piece of art in the Arte lineup appeared at Nokia website without a proper introduction from the manufacturer. The new Nokia 8800 Gold Arte follows on the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte but adds quite some luxury and tackiness to the package...

This phone is sleek and sexy. Just wished they'd start making them quad-band... :( The only one that comes close to it in quad-band is the Luna but seriously overrated...

ForeverPad, 23 Dec 2008I always find it fun to see at what point some people are a... moredumbness .. mhh no, it goes with what someone want's and period! ,, . If choosing something that has no use is dumbness then Every asthetical choice is dumbness. Sometimes someone just want's something, and if they have the money I think they should buy it.Having a piece of allotropic variation of carbon chains seem's to be very important for some women .. and I think is fine and not a dumb thing to do. but personally I never would spend money on a diamond.

I always find it fun to see at what point some people are attached to the "exclusivity" of what they have. And it's often useless stuff, exclusivité goes with dumbness

No one cares about the lower level people??? just last month nokia offered 5 phones, all of them cheaper than any other cell phone on the market,¡ and still knowing that the low price of nokia comes with an excelent quality phone that will last a good while. Some people want something diferent, something unique, thats what nokia those with these series of phones. whoever wants the phone and has the money for it and likes to have a one of a kind phone, dont doubt that this will be the cell phone ur looking for, just like everything else in life, why not with cell phones?

blah blah blah. so what if it has mediocre features for a very expensive price tag... if you buy this phone, it's not because of the features. it's the exclusivity that comes with it. it's like an LV bag, the design hasn't changed in decades... but dayum! it's still pretty expensive! if you want a bag with features then go for a northface. same difference! duh!

Come On pfff, starvation, economical crisis, and people find money not only to buy this kind of stuff but people are paid to create this sort of bling bling phone.

Now the probleme isn't the price tag !!! But you're paying for a shiny mid range phone, the price you could get a high end device.

But lets be reel, there's allways someone to buy this kind of crap.
Instead of paying people to make à gold phone, they should invest much more on new style, new look, cause frankly, most nokia or any brand are really having trouble finding new shapes and looks for there phones, pfff replace imagination by gold you get the arte.

Lol soon will have a TV SHOW "PIMP MY PHONE" : so today folks we got your old NOKIA3310, we replaced the buttons with diamonds, the shell with brushed gold plated 18K gold and you even get you're own paris hilton key holder !!!.

                                loooooool

Just keep it simple and efficient

seems nokia are planning to make phones based on the periodic table of elements.

The Boxster barely costs $60k out here and I see them on every street here, much like the N95/N96.
