who cares man, HTC Touch Pro and X1 are basically the same, if you've been on XDA's site your know that these minor software tweaks like the X panels and HTC home are just small add ons to the visual, usually within a week or two they extract them and put it all together into a .cab which you can install onto your WinMo 5+

Or just upgrade your WinMo 5+ to a custom 6.1 rom and the tweaks are usually there.

The thing is that HTC have more models that appeal to more people, the X1 has to beat the Diamond, Touch Pro and Touch HD and not forgetting Omina. However i prefer HTC cause of its overall smaller feel, but the X1 is a great phone no doubt

I'm sure they had a very good reason to entrust their new XPERIA to Taiwan

Who bother? Who buy Sony Ericsson again since they produce end class phones with a top price class? HTC was probably too expensive for SE.

i really don't see the point why people would make a fuss whether or not X1 is made by HTC...its starting to like a pathetic move to bring SE down?...its not working unfortunately..as long as its SE Xperia then it is.. I LOVE SE...gadgets for the mentally capable...

As long as it doesn't look like some fat piece of plastic in your hand, and has a decent functions, it's okay =D (Hope Sony Ericsson makes some decent phones next year.. or I'm buying Nokia)

Flag, 27 Dec 2008now if i design a product and all it's componants then i a... moreThe word is expertise! Htc have the experience putting together these kind of devices somthing that sonyericson may not pocess so why not let them assemble your design, now think would Htc design ,build and assemble a phone for there competator knowing that the end product will out perform thier own devices I think not so there fore they Htc did not design nor supply the necessary componants for this device they got a contract to build so they build more money for them.
now for alittle speculation I surpect that Htc probly while going over noted that the xperia was a winner and did everything to hold back the launch date of the device so that their own product the touch could get a running start maybe this would explain the long wait for the x1 could you imagine what would have happen if the x1 was launched in April,or March before the Htc touch they would not make there sales for sure even gsmareana confirms that the x1 is right now king of winmobile. Now with this in mind Sonyericson may have relized that they may have been screwed with regards to thier launch date and decided to go seek Taiwan company to assemble the next line of x1 or smart phones so as to get a better jump on thier competators this would make perfect sence,if as I speculated Htc did not act in good moral buisness ethics and delayed the x1.Like I said this is done all the time by car manufactures the Design, produce the materials for the car they want and it goes to the assembly line in India, china or some Asian base company for production this would explain by theway why the Chinese can have phones with dual sims looking like nokias n95 or sony ericsons k510i out there they have been doing the assembling and just copy the look may not be able to copy the platforms but they are doing hell of a goog job flooding the market with look alike that in some cases perform very well and offer more features as well dual sims and tv and awhole lot of other shit even louder then the originals Chin and Chan rocks.lol hahahhahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!

The Xperia is actually very Sony-esque. I don't know whether Sony Ericsson had a lot to do with the development or just handed HTC a design breif, but it really feels like an SE handset when you use it, and I've used both HTC and SE handsets. Then again, I'm probably biased, since I worked for Sony, hehe ;)

Air Products and Chemicals Inc. has signed two contracts with Nokia to supply nitrogen at plants in China for use in electronics assembly and packaging.

Nokia has recently converted its printed circuit board assembly to rely on a lead-free soldering process, which requires nitrogen. The contract involves plants in Beijing and Dongguan.

Lead-free soldering is part of a global movement in the electronics industry to eliminate lead contamination, Air Products says in a news release.

Air Products supplies industrial gases for customers around the world. It employs about 4,100 at its headquarters in Upper Macungie Township and about 21,100 worldwide. Now nokia people wake up your doing the same damn thing just do a google search nokia assemle plants hahhahhahhahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa lollllllllllllllllll
