this is matter of pricing . Android phones sell because of lower price than iphone. if android phone should have a same avarage price as iphone , people will buy more iphones.

AnonD-187611, 13 Nov 2013what a misleading article. In reality, this "market sh... moreobviously, living in a first world country
makes it easy to get the latest phones on
      contract. In other countries whereby
contract buy of phones are not possible
you have to buy the phones without
contract, and buying a phone for over a
$1000 makes no sense to majority of the
populace when you can get a phone with
almost the same capability at one quarter
the price. To most people price and
functionality drives thier will to buy a new
phone but most importantly PRICE, hence
Iphone might be dominating the north
american market but android will continue
to dominate the world market. In my
country android has taken over while nokia
is staging a comeback with WP especially
lumia 520 leading the way, but Iphone no
      way.

Their camera is crap. Their build quality is pathetic. Their designs are hideous. Their screens are unlegible outdoors. Nokia makes the best hardware and that's not even debatable.

They both have their pluses and minuses, but overall, I would recommend an iPhone to most people, even though I use an Android phone most of the time. If they can afford it, of course.

Just cleaner interface out of the box, less hassles down the line, generally better design. The new fingerprint sensor of the iPhone is a great feature and everyone I know that has it would not go back to anything else.

If you want to tweak, sure, Android is the way to go, but most users don't tweak.

So, you are doing a disservice to your customers, just because you are a sweaty geek.

Cheap Androids are replacing old-fashioned mobiles. Makes sense.

It's like saying that Walmart sweatpants outsell Prada pants.

Volume has nothing to do with quality.
