If the 5C had same hardware it would be just as good Orr better than the rest. But it's like my iPhone 5.. Not 5s inside and this is crazy since the pride with the 5C is so close.

Don’t worry folks Google will soon clean up all these hi profile’s companies’ habits for overpriced devices with 300% profit/unit and the ones with so called budget phones that deliver crappy android user experience.

The pride of apple is the price. No matter what product they create, it will always overprice. And fans of these product still love it and willing to buy. Good luck for those who are willing to spend a lot of money.

Why this is a surprise. iPhone 5s sells well only in subsidy markets. Wherever iPhone is pitted against its premium competitors in the unlocked and contract free territories, iPhone will fare badly

I actually love the 5c but Apple got it all wrong - the idea of a 'budget' phone was so enticing but they ended up charging a premium for it. I know they want to protect their 'luxury' pricing structure but come on, it's time to be sensible and make some products 'affordable' - people love and would like to own iPhones and Apple products but the price tag puts many off

The problem is it's cost. Why buy that when they get the premium model for a little more? Make that 5c like 170-200 USD and it will sell like hot cakes but that would send Apple's stocks plummeting to the point of no return. Cutting back on staff and reduce expenditure will soon follow.
Apple works on a high profit model they can't compete on lower margins.
