first half of next year could mean late like april-june time and by which industry and its key players would have had newer flagships as well. For the time being Note 3 seems to be the spec leader.

It defo sounds the part but... moreIt's not about having the most sales, it's about showing the world that they can and will make the world's most bleeding edge smartphone, I have reservations about the camera quality (not speed, at f/1.8), but the rest is truly going to be flagship specs for at least the entirety of 2014.
Fanboys can stain their fannies all they want, it won't change the fact that these chinese smartphone makers are very serious about being the best. And this Xplay 3s does look to be the best in the world at this point.

Great on paper with them specs. It defo sounds the part but there is noway it can topple the big companies because of marketing and appeal. If this was in a worldwide branded phone it would certainly be up there with the big boys but a weak name poor branding and low advertising will all but kill this phone in most markets it is available in. In my opinion

That resolution is a big waste in CPU cycles. 720p is very enough for me.

This is exciting because other Android OEMs are crazy about killing the beast Galaxy Note 3 before it dies in the consumer market interests.
It's overwhelming to see the fierce competition among other OEMs to kill the beast. :)
