And yes, it has a task manager with the ability to close the running applications and the stuffs promised in the update.

Just wait for Samsung Galaxy S5, LG G3, Sony Xperia Z2 and HTC Two. These will make Apple's market share even smaller.

Windows Phone is for kids and with Nokia selling at a loss, they packed out a lot of those low end things and ridiculously low prices.

Android does not lag, but wp8 hides it's lag behind long animations... and restricting the ability to do any real multitasking! Is it possible to root wp8 and install adblockers and are there any other stores just as there are many stores for apps and games outside Goigle Play? If you, like me, hate the Metro ui with it's gigantic fonts and mostly "dead" tiles, app icons, is it possible to install any other launcher, or even the Harmattan skin that Nokia said they would be allowed to use to not become just one of many identical wp8 phones from Samsung...?

I'm from Colombia and I've been using a Nokia Windows Phone 8 for the last month. It's great, I'm very happy with it.
I also use a Samsung Android tablet and an iTouch 5. So far, so good with all of them. I don't see the point of all this people losing their minds defending one or another OS, this is just crazy...

Android and Ios have way more apps and sorr... moreWhat does kitkat hold for us...i upgraded my nexus 7 to 4.4...it removed the last flash player support elements and is way toooo sluggish...looking for a way back to 4.3!!! I hold a wp8 Lumia 720..ok it doesn't have flash support but never sluggish still...consistently performing good even though u cant customize it that much...but when it does its job.,.customizations are secondary!!!
