Maybe these changes will bring a better customer service approaches to BB users, what we had over the bast year was not a customer service but rather a useless help desk who will creat more confusion and do nothing.
Maybe there is still a string of hope here.

Create a BBOS-like launcher and place it on top of Android! :) This will keep the phones BB-user-friendly and at the same time, take advantage of the Android/Google ecosystem.

It's the same with Samsung's Touchwiz UI which they also used on their own Bada and feature phones. It keeps people familiar with the way the brand is used.

[deleted post]Sounds big, I would prefer a "Z20" if they made one, say around 4.5 inch, then I would not mind much if it's only 720p. Big battery and 32 GB internal plus card slot. That's my phone, wow.... But I think I'll be ok with Z10 as well, wish it had bigger battery though.

AnonD-193964, 26 Nov 2013I truly agree with you.Clearly you and suzy don't know the chain of events that led to the change of CEO. This could not have happened any sooner, it was some forced change of plans that made changing the CEO an option.

Now, should Thorstens have been CEO in the first place? Probably not but im sure it seemed right at the time, and anyway he is gone now, and BB has 1 billion from Fairfax. Good. However they have to hurry up if they want to rectify the biggest distaster, Z30 need FHD display and it needed it 3 months ago already.

That is not the last for BB, but it should be end of BB firmware. The prblm is , BB is a poor device of Stores, Apps, MKT and Promotions around the worlds. If you really wanna to bit the ring, you must look into some asia countries such as: Cambodia, etc... and also to change your policy of BB core to adapt some apps and tools develop out-source, or you must be stronger enough of your R&D to challenge this war.

BlackBerry was good before the emerge of the iPhone 4 and Samsung S3. But now it's dying and sinking deep in water. The same goes with Windows Phone (Which I wonder how can WP users like it??) The settings, closing apps, lack of many apps etc.. is bad.

tomakali, 25 Nov 2013Well Good things going to happen... trash out all craps of... moreProblem is not with the BB os as 10.2 is a very solid platform it's with the slow adoption of full touch screen handsets. WP not only lacks basic features that business user's really need (such as being able to manage your own files and security strong enough that BB was officially approved by US government agencies to use years ago).

Not to mention MS' history with their mobile platforms is miserable. Microsoft's and is at least 3 years behind BB for business users and enterprises and now that Microsoft has taken over Nokia's handset division I expect many users who bought Nokia because of the brand and quality will look elsewhere.

This shake up is exactly what BB needed as the CMO and COO did miserably in their handling the pricing and marketing of their new handsets on the BB 10 platform.

For those of you who miss the true multi-tasking capabilities of the Symbian platform you'll like the full multi-tasking capability of BB OS 10 devices.

If you want to STAY in business, take care of your customers!!! That's not too hard to do. Unfortunately, this company does not know how to do it. Give the customer what they want!!! They came out with a tablet, but there is no Skype available. They came out with a nice keyboard for the device, but quickly discontinued it. You call customer service and they are of no help. Go figure!!!!!

AnonD-34979, 25 Nov 2013They should make windows phone for the enterprice market. Yes, imagine a WP model with a hardware keyboard. That would be excellent.

There are some things which can save BB, release a phone that looks like the Q5 with BB10 OS with balanced specs and Android apps compatibility, keep the price between 200-300. That's it for a successful business.

Hey buddy, thanks for the quick download link for the flash file.
I've been unable to download it from any of the previous links I found on other sites.
Nice job meh, your blog reminds me of an equally helpful and interesting blog on my reading list All gsm Solution and firmware here.
                            keep up the good work.
