Apple sold 150 million iPhones in the year ending September.
Your numbers do not add up with reality.

I don't see how this could spark a debate between and among Android, Apple, and WP users. So what if Apple has a big fan base in Japan? I don't think it matters anyway. Kudos to Apple for racking in the sales, though. I've tried using all OS, and so far I'm finding Android to be my favorite because of its merits and not because of other the OS' demerits. Period.

Only Samsung high end phones(S4, Note, Active) make almost 50% of those 81% Android share.
By the way another 20% mid-range Samsung phones like Galaxy Ace(great selling phone),Mega,Grand and Mini are in the same category , even better , than iphone 3G/4/4S that make 50% of the Apple's phones.

Those are good numbers but l have been around both OS'es for a long time...I have come to see that apple customers are not any less annoying than android customers...Its called choices, they both have there advantages. Apple devices are more reliable than android devices but in my eyes that's it. Most customers just buy phones because there friends have them or they saw a cool app and l can care less about that. Out of all operating systems l like Windows 8 1st Android 2nd and apple 3rd....By the way l own and sell all these devices so l see and activate these daily and have to deal with customer issues...
