If you desperately need a 16M just for bragging, go ahead and buy a blokia or fagsung.

SE LOver, Have you seen Nokia 16M colore looking like compare to Sony? Nothing as good as the Sonyericsson. Beside Sonyericsson dont creat useless function as Nokia do. I will always look upto Sonyericsson and won't bother with Nokia no matter what's on offer.

again with a lack of 16M colored screen SE just admitted that either they r not capable of this technology or simply they don't want their customer to be proud of such technology.
lack of flash in W508's Camera is also one of a major setbacks which started to appears in W-series latest releases. don't mention dat the W715 is a just new copy of its line last release W705 which itself - what a poor - was just a copy of G-Series latest G705.
if SE go among these repetitions for too long. definitely it will loose what we called "Innovation leadership".

True, this phone is much like the w980, but it is smaller. Thinner. I'm in the market for a slim flip phone and used the older Moto Razr as a standard to see if any new phone can beat it for slimness. Not many have come out, but this one is actually thinner than that old Moto and it has tons more features. Plus, when flipped out, the joint has an interesting position which makes it look a bit like a Japan-spec cell phone. Anyways, there's definitely a market for these less expensive phones. You high-end fanboys just need to realize this and quit asking "who's going to buy this anyway?".

Meh its touch screen and without a d-pad so gaming on it is a bit meh. And the symbian interface isnt all that special and the SE interface is nice. While the W508 is like a W980 it has some changes such as gesture control the faceplates and a metallic keypad without the 8GB of memory. As anon said its a W980 for the youth. And i love it. Also wow the headphone set is a normal one. oh well i was expecting a more spiffy one. But its a real nice phone. So lets see. Its lighter but a bit bigger then the 980. The outer screen isnt full and with color but who cares bout that. Aha its missing the stereo speakers. While the 980 has 8GB it has no card slot. With the card slot you could put in 16GB if you wanted. The battery is also stronger and it seems that it also has motion control. Although its a succesor to the 380 its really an upgraded(not much but in a way) W980. Dont believe me then compare the 2.

It was great in late 07 but is outgunned by pretty much any high end phone these days. The 208Mhz (180Mhz is the actual speed) processor is just too slow for most tasks and the lack of Wifi'g' and GPS is a major downer.

Don't you realized that W715 only meant exclusively for Vodafone?! W508 is kinda W980 for youth. Think before you post, please....

It's still a nice phone even trough it doesn't have all the high end functions likes the X1 and en C905, but it will be a nice solution for people who go for Walkman, rather then Camera or full-QWERTY keyboard...
