my z1 still no update for 4.3. i check daily connecting with Sony PC Companion 2.1 and Update Service from pc. any help???

My z1 was simply super until it gets 4.3 update but now facing many issues in album, chrome and many applications not working properly.

I had received 4.3 update in India for my Xperia Z1, so the thing is whether i go for 4.3 update or not.

My Xperia Z Ultra had been working fine since last October until I upgraded to 4.3 Jelly Bean last week.
Since last week, it consumes battery power than usual.
It previously lasts whole day on full charge overnight with heavy use but now it last only 3 hours on full charge.
How do one correct this power probelm

What's worse is all my media stuff on my album is now black. I can use other apps fine but I can't play videos or look at my pictures without the phone freezing.

And I thought this update are for those apps. I've been checking for forums about this everyday but still to no avail.

I've updated my Sony Xperia Z Ultra to Jellybean 4.3 here in the Philippines a few days ago. At first it was working really great until yesterday when I encountered a lot of bugs. First off are the Album and Walkman apps. They will just lag when you open em and will end up as app not responding. Then it will be followed by Google Chrome and Facebook not responding as well. It happens to all pre-installed apps in the phone. What really pissed me off was the error saying "system process not responding". The system will just freeze and you will have to reboot the phone to get any response and it will just repeat the error once the phone is completely opened. Is anyone experiencing the same issues? I've tried searching for forums but iy seems reviews for Xperia jellybean 4.3 are not yet available and it's a bummer. I only got these issues after upgrading to Jellybean 4.3. Hope we get bug fixes soon.

worked for me after rebooting the handset - new software became available. Please try, may work for you as well.

I've tried resetting my phone and changing my dns address to see if this helps but unfortunately still the same. I guess we'll have to wait until the new year..sigh!!

Still not decided whether to update or not. I'd rather have the current faults I have on 4.2.2 rather than welcoming new ones.
Mixed opinions of people and I'm not able to decide. :/
