German T-Mobile branded 4.3 - Update went super smooth, but the well known battery problem hit me as well. After all these months of trying, recalling, reissuing? C'mon, guys, you just rendered my most important business tool worthless.

I updated last night directly with offical update and my device is running very smooth without any lags or battery drainage. I would recommend to go with update which you get when you check for updates from device itself.

i am facing battery problem, it take about 6 hours to charge up to 50% with no usage and mobile data off,any solutions?

I just updated to 4.3 and my device had no issues and working flawlessly. I upgraded with update I received on device automatically from samsung.
Yet to check battery drainage issue reported by many others

Useless update. In standby mode for 2 hours battery drains ecxatly 15%.. wt the hell. I want my 4.1.2 .. everything ok. But battery drains quickly. Damn sure..

ZZUBZ, 10 Jan 2014not able to get update via kies aswell please advice how do... moreI had this same problem while updating my phone to android 4.1.2 I went to samsung support they updated my phone and gave me for free. So try like me there is no other go.
DISADVANTAGES ARE THERE WHILE DOING THIS
1) after that way of updating u can't update through kies.u can update only through OTA
