hct-has done well with 501, but the 4.0 version of hct has made it a backdated cellphone. hct should upgrade it or reduce the price to 13000 inr (indian rupee).

hct please understand that customers are now very sensitive towards minute details of the configuration.

People are sick of those high-end phones that hardly fit ones pocket. Z1mini brings high-end specs in a compact body and it is now already clear that it will be one of the best selling phones on the market. 5 inch is too big most people.

did try dual sim for travels - made a mistake - connected using home sim -cost $100+ roaming .. feel safer to use single sim - no big advantage to use 2 sims while in home region .. but in asia - dual sims phones are popular due to peculiar HOME MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS SETUPS - INDIA CHINA ETC- dual sims useful to separate work and private communications .. dual sim phones not needed -not popular in usa canada uk european union ..

So, this is pretty much the Evo with beats audio, huh? Hopefully HTC wants no more than $50 for it, unlocked.

@LaxG Yes, the battery is removable and it is 1800Mah battery. Both SIMs are active simalteniously, the inside is bright green and so is the battery color, which is nice. But the phone is way too slow, I do not understand why not put S4 dual core, which would work just fine. They keep putting new crippled CPUs and the phone is barely functional. It is a pity, I would have gotten it,if it were not for lag.

It is available here in Ukraine for roughly $250 off contract. My friend got one, played with it for a day and returned it. I am sorry to admit, I had a look at it as well and it is too slow. It lags pretty much even when scrolling screens or opening phonebook. Unacceptable, poor job HTC. This is coming from a fan and an HTC One owner. I am happy with the One, but phone like desire 400 should not be on the market. Undermines HTCs image in my book.
