Does this jb enable wifi hotspot/tethering on IPAD2 so that I can use it as a modem to connect my laptop to internet?

I have an Ipad 2 wifi, i have done the jailbreak 3 times, still stuck on apple logo, don't tell me not to do OTA because i have never done an OTA update in my life, i have used iTunes full restore every time i do a jailbreak, and i am still stuck on apple logo, anyone have another solution different to tell me to go into DFU and restore ?? thanks

Thanks for the info, i'm glad i read it before trying anything because i updated ios 7.0.4 OTA on my ipad mini.
I'm gonna jailbreak once the official cydia for ios 7 gets bundled with the Evasi0n software keeping your instructions in mind.
I have a question whether during this process the computer is gonna download the full software(1 gB or something) or only the part of the update 7.0.4, i.e., 17 mB ?

I mean why would you jailbreak an iphone ... moreWell just like how with Android you have "Admin" control with iOS when you JailBreak (JB) you could install a lot of tweaks available via Cydia. These mods are all inspired from all over the place even android phones. On the other hand surely now we can Port 5s slow mo camera to older devices also just like how they did with Siri.

iPad 2 (2012) will not boot. Always restarts after about 10 seconds. That was after doing a complete restore in iTunes in DFU mode. Didn't even restore data before attempting the jailbreak. They should have done more testing instead of rushing an obviously unfinished product out.

Why jailbreak it? I mean why would you jailbreak an iphone 5S? I root my android devices only to put custom roms and stuff. What about iOS?
