On iPhone 4S the battery took a huge hit with iOS 7.x.. I'm with 7.0.4 and my iPhone is shutting down on 15%~20%.. sometimes it jumps from 40% to 15% just from opening a game. I've already calibrated the battery twice to no avail..

well i doubt they are delaying ios7.1 for some in the car feature, as the news just popped up after evasion7 jailbreak, which is really fishy. i think they are going to take the extra time to patch the ios7 for further vulnerabilities and tame the exploits used for ios7 jailbreak, so there are going to be no more ios7.x jailbreaks for quite some time, as using up two sets of exploits for a single firmware version is really not clever. just like ios6.1.3 was not untethered for quite some time to save the exploit, till ios7 came out and then use the same method to kill to birds in a single shot.

You all say bug fixes... Lol... Yes maybe a few bug fixes here and there, but in general, iOS 7.0.4 is stable, at least for me on my iPhone 4S. No lag no shit. The battery is a bit worse than iOS 6 but other than that its great. Maybe they will try to make the battery better who knows.

It doesn't take 3 months to fix a jailbreak exploit or the "in the car" feature.
It has to do with the number of bugs they continue to fix.
