    Very nice move!
WM is gaining a reputation as a "quality OS" with good performance although with not that many apps, Sony is a good and solid builder with a nice religion for high devices so, both teaming up seems only natural.
I love Sony and I am very curious with the Lumia Range but as I am not much of a Nokia fan, never bought one but I definitively would go for a Sony WM phone!

For all the haters that are going to show up sooner or later, "Since when is having a choice a bad thins?", for everyone else this is great news. Always loved Sony, but I really wanted to buy myself a WP8 device. In the end I bought Xperia S, because L920 was twice as expensive at the time, but if this is true I know what my next phone will be. I can only imagine Z1 body and camera with WP8 on it and that sweet VAIO logo etched on the back. Also, Sony's Walkman player with support for FLAC files on WP8 would make that package perfect since neither Xbox or Nokia music support it at the time.

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2013I doubt it, Windows Phone 8 have Xbox games with Xbox Live ... moreThey will probably have it as an app instead. But yeah hopefully they won't back out this time like before with Sony Ericsson Jolie.

VAIO Z means the laptop one or the WP one???

I doubt it, Windows Phone 8 have Xbox games with Xbox Live Achievements, Leaderboards, and Gamertag integrations. Would be cool to have both PlayStation hub and Xbox Live hub on WP8.
