Last years' introduction of the colorfully plastic iPhone 5C proves that Apple isn't too big or too cool to succumb to pressure from the masses.
And they have to continue bowing to pressure by moving into the phablet range another to remain relevant

Apple will not make it bigger than 4inchs because they want users to be able to operate it with one hand. This has been said many times in the past. They will not give up on the 4inch model.

Samsung, LG, Motorola, HTC and all the rest cell phone companies should sue Apple, should Apple decide to produce these new phones. The 4.7" and the 5.7" sizes are already in use. This design is being manufactured and sold for number of years now. If Apple makes this design, it is stealing!
Also the cheap plastic used in 5C is already used in thousands of other devices, once again Apple is stealing someone else's work and making billions out of it.
Stop Apple from stealing other people creations!

Apple has some standard there wont be any idiotic designs as well as sizes. AS they are not copycat. they will stick to their own ideas. And that's what every apple's fan loves apple.

Nice move apple, u finally realized that....improving features on the same screen size will not help in generating dollars.....people are looking for big screens and innovative features with speed.

I like that decision. I'll buy the smaller version. Remember - mobile phones must stay practical. Apple knows that A LOT of users prefer smaller phones/screens than 5 inch.
Innovations should be inside, not outside. Design is already brilliant.
