Film at ISO100 is roughly 8MP so you do 5MP that's roughly 65 ISO film.
So there is a quality difference, not trying to blow away your point just saying about quality and size.

They need to abandon stupid beats marketing ploy. if they want to appeal to true music lovers they need branding like Bose, Clarion, Harman Kardon or something along those lines.
And they deed to wake up from 5 megapixel camera dream. From moment one, I thought the company was lying to us customers with this camera. It turned out that I was right.
I wonder if Taiwanese think we're idiots that can be duped into these things... Well, they got their answer lol

Phones locking up, extreme overheating and that good habit of cutting phone connection when you put your hand anywhere near the antennae! Wonder why people are running away in droves, NOT. At the price, people expect something that works, not something that runs like a bad Beta version made in someones garden shed

I am using HTC Sensation XE since one and half year and I am loving with HTC Products. But, the genuine problem which I have found are.
- Over heating.
- Sometime slow responsive.
- Battery draining so fast.
- Need to be more innovative.
If HTC overcome these problems, I believe HTC will become the market leader.

HTC needs to differentiate themselves more. Spend more R&D in a market not so saturated. I'm thinking Windows Phone...

Greetings from Oman, HTC ONE is the best mobile, they are lacking unethical marketing as Samsung & Apple,, but the people who educated are aware about the capabilities of HTC,,all the best for 2014...

I think they could have sold more models of the HTC One if if didn't have the Ultra Pixel camera.
I know their intentions were good but the people have spoken and we/they/internet do not like the Ultra Pixel camera.

1: No Marketing,
2: Over priced for their mid range of Configuration models.
3: Outlook.(Seems, more space below the screen just for Home & back option..It reduces screen height)
Poor service in india..(Each state has only one service center, who lives in @least 500km far they have to travel)
4: So, Simply Samsung & LG& Micromax takes complete charge.

HTC is a very good handset phone but the problem is just the marketing strategies they used to position the brand. In regards of the quality and specs, no question to ask. Please re-strategize the marketing.

Sounds like BB woes - perhaps a merger? Both good quality desirable hardware but overpriced. Seriously, a merger, integrate products and lower prices.

Yes beats headphones are overpriced that is true but it doesnt mean they are bad. Boomsound on HTC phones and the equalizer they use is awesome. Try and find a phone with better speakers then HTC One.

The problem with HTC is good advertising, good managementand and they should extend their reach or costumer service much more because in third world second world countries retailers are profiting by putting rocket high prices as you can see from pwoplw who comment here. They should set astandart pricing and not allow retailers move that price or they should open their own retail stores or work in conjuction with big retailers on other countries although they do not have the budget to open their own stores i think they can work with big retailers in various countries to showroom their devices. Other than that you never see an HTC smartphone break, be poor built like other manufactures even their midrangers are very good manufactured.

Bad after sales support, pink tint when shooting in mid to low light, go figure. Worst decision ever was when i bought a crappy htc one.

Seems almost everyone other US or select countries are complaining of the same reasons, no need to mention them again.
To be honest, I really admire (and Love) HTC products. Unlike India and other countries, we enjoy the availability of them devices. However, HTC here has next to nothing advertising in Egypt, no real pricing research on 2013 units, resulting in bad competition with Samsung and Sony, and now even Alcatel, Huawei LG are grapping more and more sales..Jovi Tronix is beautiful local distributer, and.people are realizing that plastic ain't always good..but they cant buy HTC coz of pricing and because they really know nothing about the phones' quality build or hardware. As a tech geek and android supporter, also someone who changes their phone once or twice in a less than a year, I rarely have enough money to buy a flagship from HTC.Always Sony and LG (Even Crapple) are better in price, Z1 is becoming cheaper than HTC One !!!!
Please improve ur prices (Learn from Moto G (A wonderful piece of the market is waiting for a product like that in Egypt, provided they do some serious PR this time).
