And the Ultra Pixel in their camera is 2UM size. Where as this is 1.4UM. Same as the Iphone and afew other devices and not much bigger than the 1.2UM of most devices.

that is fantastic!
(or htc just a sluggish company who thought could deceive their customer by telling Ultrapixel is great by only use 4 megapixel!? pathetic!)

Ultrapixels are 2um, actually 1.4 um is the same as the iphone 5, the xperia Z1, and the 808
and BTW, FFCs usually have large pixels, but bad quality (don't know why), I've seen 1.9um ones
