I expect no less. Windows phone OS is fluid, responsive and is catching up quickly. I used to swear by android and never considered a WP device for myself until I tried one and was impressed by it. True it is a young OS compared with others and needs a few tweaks but they are getting there.

That's good, but all those countries are small cell-phone markets (except for India). Russia was not mentioned, but I truly hope WP is ahead there too. However, win is a win, even if small. Microsoft should emphasize on China, Japan, UK..
Hopefully we will see Sony, Micromax, ZTE, Lenovo etc. Windows Phones this year.

In India Lumia is selling really good. But i had been to thailand in nov13 and barely saw any lumias. Infact the iphone as widely visible as samsung. Really doubt ms.

This is all bullshi*t. I know for a fact that windows and nokia are suffering in Saudi Arabia and are hardly noticed.... Where is Microsoft getting that data????? Maybe it's still a dream.... Wake up Microsoft,,,,,

Most of the countries in the list are underdeveloped countries using mixed economy system. Of course Windows Phone will be having success here because of the insanely high prices of an iPhone.
On the other side, if it's true. It's a good way to start a new year. Looking forward for more success.

2nd Rank in India is really a great achivement.
I am also thinking of getting lumia 1320 as it is now lauched.
But would wait for price to reduce.

Just add miracast, file manager and USB HOST to windows phone to continue the growth,these will make windows phone a close second rather than a distant one
