The Moto X is available in Chile also (south america). I had seen it in the stores from a while. In fact in Chile are available almost all major brands and full range of devices.

I hope that they will release European version of Moto X next week. The phone looks great and is fast and powerful. If it's going to be priced under 300 €, I'll buy it for sure. If it's going to be to expensive, I'll buy Moto G instead.

There are countries in Europe which are not in the EU like Switzerland, Turkey or Ucrane...and those last 2 are quite bug so they will be hard to miss if you look it up on the map.

Most likely, it won't be a new phone, as in "new product" phone. The only thing I can think about is Moto X, but making a launch event for an old-old product... and its price may be close to Sony Z1 Compact, which will completely defeat the purpose of Moto X.
Hopefully, Moto X will do another price drop soon so I can consider it for purchase. Its a very old piece of hardware for the price - B-brand companies ask about 2 times less for at least 2 times faster hardware (full-HD screens, quad-core processors, 13mp cameras and all).

M$ treat Nokia as a toy, they cant do it alone so they buy it, Google buy Motorola mainly for patents. Once upon a time...two best phones producers, r.i.p.

Else if we're talking about performance only, 2012 smartphones too will still be adequate in 2015.
