Let's be honest, Samsung's 2013 flagship smartphones(S4 & Note 3) is quite a disappointment. Maybe you're not getting used to the rear buttons.

If it is like big.LITTLE microarch it should be an AWESOME performer =D
1.7ghz cortex a15 (like in nexus 10) and a quad a7 for low power tasks. Paired with 2gb ram, and a 720p display and a beefy battery (3100 mAh) droooooool
                  Get my money samsung :P

If this had a 1080p display with a price range of 350-400 USD, I'd def get it. I wouldn't mind if they lower the battery capacity to 2800 MAH.

Prediction: Like every Samsung Galaxy phones, this phablet is gonna have a similar design and it doesn't matter how many cores it has, be it Hexa or Octa, the phone's gonna lag as other Galaxy phones because of "TouchWiz."

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2014Biggies are out, compact is in for 2014.It feels like it but my fat thumb couldn't even type accurately on my S4 so I sold it and gotten a Note 3 and am happy the keypad is widely spaced for accurate typing.
I would actually liked to have a Compact like the Xperia Z1 Compact at 4.3" display but am sure the keypad would be cramped so better to have it big. For the ladies it is good to have compact minis as their hands are smaller.

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2014Biggies are out, compact is in for 2014.I'm afraid your wrong with that statement entirely, biggies are in, however there is a growing market for smaller screen uber powerful devices, which is fair, not all people want big screens, but to say large screens are out when phones like the s3 s4 note 2 note 3 Xperia z, z1, and so on have all sold in record figures and other companies devices have done really well in the phablet market is a bit of an odd claim to make.

We'll mainly because you are using android, most launchers on most devices use a basic setup of say 4x4 but there are literally tens of thousands of configurations you can do simply by going to the play store and downloading a launcher and a skin to make it feel the way u want it to, my s4 home screen is set to have a 5x2 across the top and underneath it's set to 7x4 for icons which are all shrunk with custom fonts and labels, that's the beauty of android it's up to you how it looks and feels.

If that were true how come the Note 3 sold record amounts? I think the only only people that actually believe this are iPhone users, but what IS actually in is choice. Want an HTC One but think it's too big? Choose the One Mini then. Likewise want the Galaxy S4 but need something a little more robust, then choose the S4 Active. It's something that every manufacturer is embracing, except maybe Apple, because they TELL you your phone is the perfect size. Choice is king.
