Hi, one of my friend got this mobile for 19k but the quality is way too low. The stylus could be easily be broken within secs. It's got good sound but there's a huge drawback. The memory card provided by nokia has got lot of problems. We are unable to load anything more than 4GB. More than 4GB the phone starts to hang. Not bad thats all we wanna say

i got that phone for about 4 days, it,s new step for nokia , nice software application very close to the i phone in the icon mode , nice touch screen but not like the iphone but better than any other touch screen .fast device , very limited application until now , poor camira i think the iphone 2 mp is better , i think its, good but not replacement for the iphone but it,s new era for nokia

I use the Facebook App on my iPhone and it works well, better than the Blackberry Storm version, I have uploaded hundreds of photo's with no issues.
P.S. Don't tell the Geek that the 5800 uses an American processor from Texas Instruments, just like a lot of Nokia phone's.
Nokia phone's have an American soul.

overall the fone is good...
but from my personal xperience using the phone...i had some problems here and there....one of the most common is the inconsistency in the call volume which is bit irretating..secondly the phone once in a while hangs in the camera mode or while watching videos...and the only solution u have is to restart it...that's another annoying thing..plus point of this phone is the high resolution screen and watching videos on it is a treat..music is the best u can ever get.....camera is average...but overall the phone has all the great features at a decent price...nokia rocks......

My dad bought this phone on Christmas last year in Oman for RO 170 or 370 Euros (also his birthday).
Touch screen is fast and responsive, it vibrates a little everytime you press a command or type a letter.
Input methods have a slight learning curve, but becomes easy once you get a hang of it.
It comes with a pouch, a dongle, and a 8GB microSDHC.
Overall, excellent touchscreen phone.

[deleted post]you need to be quiet because the iphone is nowhere close to competing with this phone and any fashion. I have the white 16g version and the phone needs wifi for damn near everything and have to use itunes just to update simple podcast. apple needs to get with the modern times

had the phone since this morning, have to say i'm genuinely impressed and especially so for the price tag. Browser was a pain at first but you kind of adapt to it.

i cant help but feel that nokia has lets us down buy not selling it(nokia5800xm) at a price resembling anywhere near to what they are selling it for in the uk, im appaled and im actually thinking of changing brands for that reason, i dont like being ripped off!and you shouldnt stand for it either.why should i have to pay over 400 euros for the phone(in cyprus,europe, they are selling it for more than 500 in some shops)the most expensive being 530 euros and the cheapest being 420 euros.shouldnt nokia be held accountable?they should of kept their promise to sell the phone for 249euros as stated in their endless reports and shows leading up to the release of the nokia 5800 xm.
