13 January, 2014
The prices could be inflated by the retailer until the actual prices are revealed by Samsung.

HD playback and recording is a Samsung first.
Look at the Phablet boom after the Note.
Why was almost every generation of Iphone SoC almost identical to Samsung's own design?

Why does LG G line look like galaxy knock of? Even UI?
Why did Apple use LG/Samsung design to make Iphone?
Everyone barrows a few things. ALL of them. But Apple copies and steals the most. Like design and even name. Samsung creates the most.

I guess when Scamsung copies something it really goes all the way.
They even copy the attitude towards the customers.
I hope they get burned really hard, because this is not the first time they've done this (SGS3mini, SGS4mini, ...).

It is but the note has special pen features not included with the tab, im not sure of the exact ones but i know theres photoshop, Crayon physics(exclusive game) and a few others i cant think of right now but i could go find out if i checked mine, i dont want to judge the tab since i havent had much experience with it but im sure the note has a better processor from what ive heard and the stylus is a great feature for some games and it helps keep the screen cleaner as well if your OCD about it :)

Look at the Note 10.1 2014 Edition in your country. Tab Pro 10.1 with LTE will cost the same as the WiFi model of Note 10.1 2014, for the price of the Tab pPo 10.1 WiFi model deduct the difference between the LTE and WiFi version of Note 10.1 2014.

I'm sure this will be quite accurate since Tab Pro 10.1 is Note 10.1 2014 without the stylus.

More competition in the highend tablets will result in lower prices. After one year it is no longer flagship model and most upgrade in specs are minimal.

I remember reading Samsung's official guide prices for these devices from one of their press releases. They were much cheaper than posted in this article. For example the Tab PRO 8.4 was 450 euros for the WiFi model.

I think mosgt of ye have missed the end of the article or just chose to ignore it lol
'SamMobile tweeted lower prices for all tablets, but didn’t reveal its sources. According to the site, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will be €850 for the LTE model, and others will be similarly cheaper going down to €390 for the Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4,

I think the prices quoted by Sam Mobile are much closer to what the actual prices will be once the Tablets are available.

This pricing is ridiculous. You can get full powered laptop/tablet convertible for that price with core i5 processor.

Samsung is no Apple, that it can hope to get away with such pricing.

holy sweet mother of... that makes me want to vomit lol. I've always been a samsung supporter for the reason that they offer incredible devices at reasonable prices, as opposed to, say, Apple.

I've never thought I'd say this, as a proud owner of a samsung TV, monitor, GS4, and Series 9 laptop, I would buy an iPad Air before spending nearly a grand on a galaxy tablet.

I sincerely hope those prices are excessively bloated, and totally unrepresentative of the actual device cost.

Considering the dating chipsets, I expected the note 12.2 Pro to be closer to 400-450€... (600-700$)

This is far from correct. I've seen other websites mentioning completely different pricing which are more likely.

Right now, the note 10.1 2014, costs arround 570 € in Greece, where we have quite a lot of imposed taxes. It is impossible that the pro 10.1 costs more than the note... Besides, the lg gpad 8.3 costs 275 € and the nexus 7 2 costs 230€. The pro 8.4 has got to be close. Even the 390€ figure is a massive difference...

Still cheaper than iPads with similar hardware specifications. I'd much rather get the 8.4" Pro than the retina iPad mini, even at this ridiculous price.

That can't be right because that is more then double the price from a 10.1 to a 12.2 Crazy!

                                        1100 euros for android tablet.
In 1100 euros I will get i5 convertible windows tablet with full desktop OS. If I need android, I will download virtual machine and run android on it.
Android is can't competitive with full Desktop windows 8.1 expect in battery performance which is improving.
