Experia T2 will face tough competition from Lumia 1320 and galaxy grand 2 and upcoming note3 lite. Hope sony gets its pricing right in tough asian markets like india and china.

Does the T2 come with a handbag so i can carry this "small" 6" phone? Maybe I'll just use my 7" tablet to make phone calls.

T2 Ultra is bound to bring tears to Samsung HTC and other Chinese brands...I am sure many people like me wanna buy it, vital is that Sony put right price tag on it to force most customers towards it.

AnonD-145587, 14 Jan 2014Sony.... why did u miss the flash in the camera in the lowe... moreI think this is more to compete with galaxy mini, music and fame etc! 512mb ram is poor now - 1gb ram is about the minimum required to play big games with intense graphics smoothly which is why I replaced my Lww (wt19i) with xperia T! I still have my lww as the noise it kicks out from its stereo speakers is quite impressive although can distort a little - expect more distortion from the E1 and its no lww replacement as lww specs were quite decent at time of release and had style! This looks cheap and nasty - we need to keep on campaining for a new walkman phone still!

                  Why , on Earth doesn't SONY make a DUALSIM WATERPROOF PHONE , with a 3000+mAh battery ?
It's either waterproof, or dual-sim , or good battery?
Doesn't SONY want to be the best selling company or what?

T2 is interesting, unless its a quadcore Cortex A5, this has better be quad A7. Another thing it need is support for HSDPA 850MHz, as that is the new hot 3G frequency in many networks as congestion builds up due to more and more people buying smartphones and data plans. The lack of 850Mhz HSDPA is the main disadvantage of Xperia C, since T2 has Quallcom and not MediaTek there is a very good chance that T2 will support it. I hope! (Galaxy Mega 5.8, the strongest competitor to T2 supports HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100)

The T2 Ultra definitely looks nice, has the right hardware and will appeal to anyone that who wants 6"-incher.

On the other hand, that E1 looks way too budget to me. If they sell it for 70 bucks off contract, then it will be success for sure.

Sony.... why did u miss the flash in the camera in the lower range(E1). Please include camera and see the boost in sales even if it costs $20-$30 more. We'd like to see the dual sim version of E1 too. Great design and welcome back dedicated walkman keys....
