I would have preferred a direct upgrade to the Xperia Z Ultra... The Xperia T2 Ultra is clearly a watered-down version of the former, with a smaller price-tag.
It's a "budget" Xperia Z Ultra, if you will.
Had Sony announced a direct upgrade to the Xperia Z Ultra, I would be getting that... Instead, I am now impatiently waiting on the upcoming (and as yet un-announced) Xperia Z2.

its not astonishing that the price of T2 is not far from Z ultra. the thing is that the current price of Z ultra is already reduced at this point in time compared to T2 having that high price because its a newer model and its gonna be its launch price, even if the specs are way lower than that of Z ultra. so in the end, a price tag of nearly 400 euros wont surprise me

for me the xperia t2 ultra should be priced at 250-300 euros because it doesnt high specs,it has mid-range specs ,if the phone is goanna cost around 300 euros im goanna buy this phone

The more powerful Xperia M, when compared to Xperia E1, with a better processor, camera, RAM, costs around 130 Euros right now in India. And you say E1 is going to cost 140 Euros?
Same with the Xperia T2 Ultra. The current prices of Xperia Z and Xperia ZL in India are 370 and 320 Euros respectively, and yet, T2 Ultra is gonna cost 400 Euros?! Madness!
