Unannounced Motorola ZN300 with morphing keypad leaks

28 Jan, 2009
Today we’ve spotted a nice photo of a still unannounced music slider by Motorola. The Motorola ZN300 looks good but its features are still in the dark. The Motorola ZN300 climbs above the ZN200...

Dont want to comment on this handset... Moto was very successful with its L6 and L7 models.. They were very basic. But I dont think that the zine series will be going well here. I bought the zn200, and was surprised to se that why moto wants us to put stuff into their default folders.. And yes the version i got cant zoom into an image, cant rotate it... Hope the zn300 is better, i mean no more hanging. I dont care abt stuff such as crystal talk. If u have a good clear voice n know how to hold the phone properly, u dont need them..

I think that Moto's weakness is not whether or not to improve on something, but to make their handsets more well balanced. I've been a Moto user for a long time (only Motos and ASUS for me) and the thing I see with Moto is they offer music phones that are focused only on music, camera phones that focuses only on images and so on. Otherwise Moto's specs, interface and looks are way beyond Moto and SE. And one other thing that's really pulling them down is a not-so-good marketing/PR team. Otherwise, Moto'll kick some @$$ competitively.

I wish people would get off the camera band-wagon.

Anyway, that pic looks FAKE!!! Has Motorola ever put their company logo off-centre? No, I don't believe I've ever seen a phone like that. It's almost always incorporated into the earpiece design. Plus that centre button looks suspicious...

I agree, sound-wise and regarding call-quality, Moto is far ahead of Nokia.

It's relatively very cheap for its specs; all that 2GB internal memory, dedicated music player, ModeShift keypad, and CrystalTalk technology in one neat package. SO how can you say that Motorola products are overpriced? The ZN5 is actually cheaper than the N82 and both are very good in camera quality.

Moto still leads the industry with the best voice quality....its flip phones with Crystal Talk offers simply the best.

The "connecting people" company doesn't even know how to make flip phones, and it "insisted" to offer many 3G phones "without" videco call capability.

Motorola used to be the best in cell and mobile/transceiver technologies. But that was 20 years ago!

Motorola let the competition gain ahead of them, they forgot one thing: they should really spend on people first, R&D, then marketing.

Motorola still has the guts to outdo any competition (believe me now that they are now using Qualcomm's stuffs). But they need to invest on the three things I mentioned up there, in that sequence.

it doesn't sell good these days in the Philippines. One MAJOR reason is because their phones are OVERPRICED! they think we will give in like moto z8. They still sell this at US$350 here in the Philippines!!!!
whatever MOTOROLA. you're going DOWN anyway.

Camera's Megapixel. Guys if you are photographers and want a good quality pic, just go on and buy yourselves a digital camera. Mobile phone camera megapixels don't really matter. What we should look for in mobile phone cameras is the clarity of the picture. Some 3MP cameras are better than 5MP cameras on the phone. Who cares about certain specs. As long as a phone is well-balanced, it can outdo other phones. Plus it all depends on a person's needs.
