No need for extra SIM slot at extra price!! Just launch a great smartphone at the cheapest price in India and you will win Motorola! People in India expect price lower than US price

ravi4ever, 20 Jan 2014why not India first, we are 1bn people here, I have asked m... moreYeah 1 billion, maybe that is the problem? Its not easy to launch a cheap and popular product in such a big market, it takes fewer units to launch in the entire SE Asia, Australia and Oceania combined than to launch in India alone. They will launch it when they have a big enough initial shipment im sure.

Moto G be available here too this month then. I wouldnt mind buying a 16GB unit but knowing this place im afraid only the dual sim version will be available, even though most people has stopped using two simcards here after modernization of the networks over the last years.

Brightstar is a phone distributor, not telco.

Yep, 20 Jan 2014I know i hope we got option of single sim then. Not paying ... moreMe too, dual sim phone is not popular in Malaysia as most area already covered by all the Telcos, unless those who frequent travel to Singapore/Thailand.

There should offer single sim instead.

AnonD-71011, 20 Jan 2014This guy doesnt have any common sense , its an inference th... moreand the price difference will be much more than $40 when it launches in india... $40 for a sim slot is not at all worth it.. it cost them very very less to add a sim slot. but i would have paid $40 extra for a 32gb variant...that is more needed..

AnonD-203978, 19 Jan 201425% more for an extra SIM slot? The price difference is mo... morePrices are always higher in foreign markets. Not a good thing but that's the scene.

Nexus 5 was launched officially in India for $469.. IPhone 5s sells for $835!

$240 for Moto G is actually pretty good.. I mean Xperia C sells for $270.. A Micromax sells

the hefty $40 spike goes more into Malaysian dealer pocket (they want more profit) rather then into Motorola pocket.

for that extra 40,we in malaysia get free flip cover(some get back cover),earphone and charger, not to mention a extra sim slot. that alone cost more that 40 bucks.

Here in Brazil there are four options since it was launched. The single Sim version, the one with four back covers in different colors, the one with sol republic headphones and the dual Sim version.

I'm fine with no SD card slot as long as it supports USB OTG, but the camera is why I'm getting a Lenovo instead.
