Wow wow... a bigger screen. What an innovation!! Apple is the best. Now, all that Apple fan need to do is grow a bigger palm to maintain that one handed operation.
And they should start to pray & hope Apple don't charge the price more for the bigger screen LOL

Good one apple.. Long waited .. 4.7 will be a perfectly sized phone. I owns Note 3 and iphone 5 and i love them both. Definitely gonna by this .

Apple Science says you cant see more, but REAL science says otherwise.
They double resolution in x and y-axis and by coincidence it seems to be the 'retina limit'
Seems very unlikely to be the truth, and 1080p phones proved they were wrong. Apple is just a boss in marketing
Go to a shop, look for a 1080p screen on 5inch, open your favorite website on that device and your iphone and see the difference, and you dont need the best eyes to see a difference

Why 4.7" display?
Apple should make it as 5" display.
iPhone with 5" display will be a killer phone for at least 3 to 5 years!
Ofcourse, make it 20 to 30% thinner and lighter than iPhone 5S.

Can you guys complaining about the retina resolution actually distinguish between that and a 600 ppi screen??? Because science says you can't and logic says you only use higher density as an e-peen to boast your phone is better, but in fact it only makes your phones heavier and thicker because of the huge batteries needed to feed uselessly dense displays and the quad cores needed to keep them performing well.

Very unlikely that they will maintain the resolution while enlarging the screen. Scaling a 16:9 display to 4.7 inches would make the phone too tall and narrow. More likely is a 4:3 like the iPads, which would add width while keeping good height.

If they keep the same res, it wouldn't be a Retina display anymore.
