WP8 is 100% unresponsive while forcing the superslow animations/transitions on us, while on Android and other Linux based mobile OS you can give input during transitions. There simply is no question aboutr which one is faster and more responsive, im no google lover but let right be right, WP8 is annoyingly slow to use no matter how good the hardware, how anyone can mistake a slow forced animation for "smoothness" beats me.

Lagdroid, 21 Jan 2014No one in android are willing to leave their launcher scree... moreAnd Windows phone is terrible, call it live tiles and only stock tiles are live, apps are awkward to use. It is smooth i give it that, but it's also darn messy. Initially impression was good, but prolong use is not recommended. Considering selling the 520 and get a Moto G.

On Windows phone, apps are pleasant to use as its smooth and responsive.

On Android, app lags is common.. and non responsive after awhile of usage..

So yeah .. android users only get excited with the launcher.. as there is the only place they can stay... everywhere else is unoptimized and laggy.

Now looking at normandy leaks, it is believable that can be an android. Since S5 too has leaks with windows home screen look alike UI, then normandy can too. So nokia will release the new look of UI before Samsung's flagship ??

I'm an htc fan, but I like this fresh look. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the past and current Touchwiz. If samsung is going this way, I might, for the 1st time, try a Samsung smartphone. I would also love if Samsung will make metal smartphones. 😊

Not really; Windows Phone still has a much smarter interface and really IS simple... then Nokias come a lot cheaper, have better cameras which do not delay a shot for several seconds like the galaxy S4 does.
