This is definitely fake. I can't see the camera protruding in the picture. Though any thing can happen, there might be new colours for Nexus 5.

This is probably just a red back cover, pretty much like the white Nexus 4 or white Nexus 5, which is just the device with the appropriate cover. In fact, it's pretty easy to turn a black N4 into a white, and vice versa... Just need to unscrew two screws and hpchange the back cover.
They are probably using the same methodology with the Nexus 5 and the Moto G/X, for example.

you too can have a crippled phone in different colours,cor,vital.
when they going to make a nexus that is'nt purposely crippled by google so badly that its not worth getting even at the cheaper price,its only cheap because the good bits have all beeb removed or where not in whichever device nexus's are usualy cloned down from.
i would rather pay double and actualy get the phone lg designed rather than a version screwed up by google.

This actually fits very well IMO. Nexus' logo is actually composed of 4 colors; Red, Blue, Green and Yellow formed into a X.

It's a good think though. Nokia introduced some really great deal with their Lumia line-ups and that is to introduced different colors than just standard black and white. Now, I would love to see OEM(s) adopting other colors for their flagships and mid ranges as well as low ranges' electronics. The just black and white color has become boring now.

It would be nice if the front panel would have the same color as the back. It's weird that color options only apply to the back part.
