But for the most of us, true value for money is very important. The Moto X has an appalling camera and nothing great in terms of battery life. I would buy the Nexus 5 in a heartbeat over this phone if I actually have to spend that much in this range.
Moto X is over priced and outdated in many aspects. It can be sensible if they reduced it to 149 and below.

In all seriousness, their choise of an 720p RGB panel was the best of any phone in 2013. Image almost as crisp as 1080p and far better contrast with only half the spec requirement. So it's easy to see why it is actually faster than most/all 1080p phones,while looking at least as good...

I guess you never used your so called 'outdated' phone this performs much better then a S4 if not Note 3 don't look at the specs the using experience is great I chose this over nexus 5 on cyber monday and i am glad I chose this best phone used till now :)

I think that Moto is going in the right direction to be a mainstream OEM. I use a Moto G and can't be much happier with a phone with such a price tag.
