Interestingly, the Sony Z1 Compact has the same variation of colours. A case of who-copied-who perhaps? :)

Its a rebranded Gionee Elife E5. Its been on sale in India for quite sometime for Rs.15000 (~$245)
Pretty good handset for the price on offer. Good alternative for Moto G for people who prefer a slimmer profile and an AMOLED display.

I really like the design but if I can remove the battery, the battery is over 2500 mAh capacity, and if there's a Micro SD card slot support them I'm in for this phone.

[deleted post]The verge did a big write up about BLU too.
Amazon sells BLU phones. Amazon is a shady website? So does newegg. They shady too?

Or maybe you are being paid to smear their name.

forget I said anything, following the link to source reveals it has a 2000mAh battery
which would be a little under par I'd think for the screen size but for a budget phone it's pretty good, really

Hmm ... from the pictures, spec, design, size I would say ... Gionee E5.

When you live in a third world country, you can certainly appreciate and respect the BLU brand for giving those with low incomes a chance to experience the mobile technology of today.
Now they're allowing for expression. Good job BLU.

if it has a battery of 2100mah or more then it would be a good deal
