Good to hear that. If Samsung stops worrying on software side and only focus on the hardware innovation, it will not only boost the business of these two giants, but it will also help bringing the great products to the consumers....cheers

A while ago it was said that Google wasn't happy with Samsung's "monopoly" over Android. Now they're together I wonder what happens to other Android makers.

Google's ambition is big, they want more than just smartphones, the acquisition of Nest prove that. And the partnership for Google-Samsung is more than on smartphone only, probably aiming for all the household electronics.

finally some common sense in business, with some collaboration allowing for these two companies to avoid wasting pointless time and money fighting each other in court and instead allowing them to focus on developing the next gen of technologies that we as the consumer will benefit from.
a fine example for other companies to follow.

And anything they do have always gets thrown out. Samsung was not allowed to use any proof of prior designs, phones, and concepts. And their patent in the most recent case was thrown out by the judge because "Samsung only acquired it in 2011 to use against apple"...Ridiculous...
